Project Overview
Comprehensive geotechnical design and analysis for quay walls and port infrastructure.
Challenge
The modernization of two major Nigerian ports required detailed geotechnical analysis to ensure safe and efficient reconstruction of quay walls and marine structures. The project demanded expertise in marine geotechnical engineering and soil-structure interaction for complex coastal conditions.
Our Approach
Our team conducted comprehensive site investigations, laboratory and in-situ testing, and advanced FEM modeling using PLAXIS 2D/3D. We prepared detailed Geotechnical Investigation Reports (GIR) with design recommendations for safe and efficient port reconstruction, ensuring stability and longevity of the marine infrastructure.
